for Public/Private Partnerships
Since the early
1980s, ARI has assisted clients in considering and implementing
public/private partnerships. Initially, we assisted public entities that
were seeking to acquire long-term municipal solid waste disposal services
without the risk of facility ownership, construction, and operation.
Private operations, design/build, design/build/operate and full service
procurements and contracts evolved. A focus of ARIs activities has been
assisting both public and private clients in considering and implementing
public/private partnerships. ARI has assisted in the procurement,
contract negotiations, permitting, design review and construction
monitoring, acceptance testing and operations monitoring for more than
100 municipal solid waste projects, including waste to energy, recycling,
composting and landfill projects.
